’How To Miss Something You Never Had’ is my first attempt at a larger sized canvas and my first attempt to use marker underneath a first layer of paint. This was a fun and challenging one that took some time to finally ‘click’ and feel complete, but thanks to the silly line from a ridiculous YouTube animation rap about a founding father that popped into my head randomly one night it gained the missing element it needed. Also was assisted by a little unintended inspiration from a social media app filter.
