This piece began in a single golden colored base with swirls painted in. I was so happy with the beginning phase that I went into the second phase almost locked with anxiety about ruining this state of ‘perfection’ or taking away from it. Eventually I cut loose and freed myself to be courageous to take chances and explore and simply enjoy the process again and I am happy with the experience and the end result!
