’Something Trite & Trifling’ was originally a mono-color linoleum print on black canvas featuring a tree with reptilian scales and branches becoming serpents which can still be seen. There was also a cat underneath an umbrella with rain reversing up into the umbrella on one side and falling down from inside of the umbrella on the other, as well as a mushroom and skull. I ultimately was not pleased with the darker mood and lack of colors and decided to liven it up a bit!
